You want to own a Pointer, but due to other commitments you do not have more time than four weeks to spare to sail the boat? Let go you have the time for maintenance, cleaning or other winter work on the boat? By renting it out during the time you cannot use it, you can earn all expenses back. Besides that, your yacht is professionally taken care of by no one else but he builder of the boat. So it remains well maintained in he best possible hands and is always clean when you come aboard to simply sail away.

How does the Buy & Charter concept work?

In short: You buy the Pointer from Jachtwerf Heeg and by renting it out right away for a period of 4 to 7 years to a professional yacht charter company, you can claim 21 % VAT back from fiscal authorities. Jachtwerf Heeg rents out the boat between March and November during a period of 4 to 7 years. You have the priority choice for using the boat during 30 days a year for yourself and of course on last minute basis.

The charter agreement is put down in a collaboration contract. Most important points: Jachtwerf Heeg is responsible for maintenance on a daily basis. As an owner you pay the berth, the insurance and regular maintenance. The owner receives 60%, Jachtwerf Heeg 40% of the income from chartering. A boat in our charter fleet can easily be financed. In collaboration with Kuiper insurances we can offer a finance deal, so that up to 75% of the total purchase price will be on loan basis.
